For those who are not beach dwellers or prefer something other than water activities on a vacation, California is the ideal place. The weather is still warm like more tropical places, but the heat is dry, less humid. The main sources of entertainment reside inland as opposed to the coast. Most cities contain closely compacted buildings and have a sort of zeal about them; California fits the big city stereotype perfectly. One thing is certain: vacationers will have no problem seeking activities. Theme parks litter the area, from Knott's Berry Farm to Six Flags to Disneyland. Also, for those seeking their fifteen minutes of fame, Hollywood is an immensely popular vacation spot which one could easily encompass a week of their vacation.

Specifically, many cities in California provide countless activities as well. The ever popular San Francisco, home of the Golden Gate Bridge, is an area in which a vacationer could spend several days. San Diego is another popular location, as the San Diego Zoo attracts millions of visitors every year. Of course, Los Angeles is another hot spot for activity.

As far as sports go, California includes fifteen major professional teams spread about the state, most notably the San Diego, San Francisco, and Los Angeles areas. Regardless of the sport, California is sure to have a team playing nearby virtually year round.

Whether a potential timeshare owner seeks the soothing ocean or the high energy flurry of the big city, California, at least on the western side of the mountains, has a location ideal for them. Highly desirable weather combined with inconceivable opportunity for activities of all kinds, the Golden State will not fail to please.
